It’s been about 1 1/2 years since answering God’s call to partner with Journey Church, ATX. And it’s beautiful to watch God’s plan unfolding! So much has happened! I’m sure I’m going to miss something since I’m trying to cram it all into this one catch-up post!
As a Children’s Ministry Director, I’ve been able to put together a Child Dedication and Kids Baptisms ceremony and, experience some deep worship time with the littles.
I’ve had the privilege and blessing to be able to facilitate a sweet women’s bible study group that focuses on doing life together.
In helping our church plant with systems and processes in administration, I’ve seen the church prepare for growth in attendance and spiritual growth.
Eddie has been doing an amazing job of stepping into men’s ministry in discipleship and community. He’s had the opportunity to flex his hospitality gifting by overseeing all things guest services on Sunday mornings as well as the facility upkeep itself.
We’ve been through 2 amazing Christmas services, Easter Service, Fall events, potlucks, deep corporate prayer sessions, pancake breakfast, partnering with other ministries like Apartment Life (an apartment community ministry that Journey Church is partnered with), and so much more!
Some things that God has put on our hearts for the near and far future are a women’s spiritual growth event, kid’s leadership training, hearing God workshops for kids, local and out of town mission trips for us and for children and others in our church.
How you can be praying for us: Pray for my health! Thanks to God, I am being healed of fibromyalgia! I still struggle with some flare-ups but eating healthier and finding time to rest has been helping! Pray that we can be the best representatives that we can possibly be of God’s word. Pray that as we pour out into others, that we respond to God’s pursuit always to turn back to Him for connection, guidance, and replenishing. Pray that we continue to walk through the right doors for raising funds and support.
